Josephine Maria Yanasak-Leszczynski (Josephine M. YaLes) is an author and writer with an interest in the representation of women, LGBTQIA+ folks, and other minorities in historical scholarship, as well as the Horror, Fantasy, and Science Fiction genres.
Her stories fall into a variety of Speculative Fiction genres, and usually contain elements of horror and real world historical influences mixed with the fantastic. She also writes poetry and non fiction on a wide range of subjects.
Josephine founded the Role Playing Game community Panoplit in 2018 and is the co-founder of RevengeFest, a genre film festival. She also shoots photography, which can be viewed on her instagram.
